US Arrests British Pair Because Of Twitter Messages

Two British tourists have been arrested in the US because of jokes they made on Twitter about destroying America and digging up Marilyn Monroe.

Leigh Van Bryan, 26 and Emily Bunting were arrested by armed security at LAX because his twitter message prior to going read;

“Free this week, for quick gossip/prep before I go and destroy America?”

The pair were quizzed for over 5 hours and then held for 12 hours before being deported.

Emily said,

“The officials told us we were not allowed in to the country because of Leigh’s tweet. They wanted to know what we were going to do”

“They asked why we wanted to destroy America and we tried to explain it meant to get trashed and party.”

Leigh said;

“It’s just so ridiculous it’s almost funny but at the time it was really scary. The Homeland Security agents were treating me like some kind of terrorist.”

I guess it is fair to say that the idea of living in a big brother state is no longer a fantasy or a joke but a reality which some are finding out the hard way.

It has been admitted by Homeland Security in America that they setup fake twitter accounts and have a list of keywords which could have you arrested.

The keywords to watch out for are;

• Drill
• Strain
• Virus
• Recovery
• Deaths
• Collapse
• Human to animal
• Trojan

With ACTA now having been signed we can expect to lose far more of our freedoms but for anyone who thinks that the arrests were justified, i ask you to consider the words of Benjamin Franklin ;
